WHAT ARE LASH EXTENSIONS?

Eyelash extensions are an advanced technique that creates a lengthier and thicker look to your natural eyelashes. They are single strands of lashes that are curved to replicate a natural eyelash. They are professionally applied, on each natural lash, with a semi-permanent adhesive meant to hold them in place for several weeks. They give you incomparable length and volume, and quicken your morning routine.

2.

WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN CLASSIC VS. VOLUME?

For classic lash sets, an individual strand of synthetic lash is placed onto one natural lash. For our volume lash sets, multiple, finer synthetic lashes are placed onto one natural lash. We use high grade faux mink or synthetic silk individual lashes that ensure quality, long lasting hold, and professional look.

3.

WILL EXTENSIONS DAMAGE MY EYELASHES?

Your lashes can be damaged if you go to someone who has not been properly trained and uses cheap products not intended for long wear. Extensions properly applied by a certified, trained technician who uses quality products should not damage your lashes. At Lash Doll, we use techniques and products to ensure lash health!

4.

WHAT IS A LASH FILL?

This is when lashes are applied to the areas that have shed. Between 2 and 3 weeks is the best time to return for a lash fill. Waiting too long, when too many lashes have shed, can result in having to get a new full set (it isn't a fill unless you have 40% of your lashes remaining!). It is much more cost effective to keep up with your fill appointments!

5.

WHAT SHOULD I EXPECT OVER THE NEXT FEW WEEKS?

Lash extensions are semi-permanent and shed with your natural eyelashes. Typically, you lose between (approximately) 1 and 6 natural lashes, per eye, everyday. This is perfectly normal. You may experience more or less daily shedding depending on your lash shed cycle and home care of your lashes.

6.

WHAT IS YOUR CANCELLATION POLICY?

If you are unable to make your scheduled appointment with your eyelash technician, please contact us as soon as possible to reschedule. We require 24 hours notice to avoid being charged 50% of the appointment fee.
